Malibu Village is a popular mall that has shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The collection of boutiques and services include The Alcove, Lululemon, Wittmore, Fred Segal, Sephora, and more. Point Dume Village is another vibrant shopping center with lots of options for a quick stop or a day of fun.

Malibu has something for everyone, beaches, nearby mountains, and the sunshine. For the beachgoers, there is all-day surfing and sandplay. There is lively nightlife, an active art scene, and delicious food for the locals. El Matador Beach is the most popular of several beaches located in Robert H. Meyer Memorial State Beach due to its proximity to Malibu. It has stunning ocean views, walking trails, caves, and rock arches.

The Getty Villa Museum is home to Greek and Roman antiques in a Roman-designed country home. With free admission, residents can use the Getty app for an informative self-guided tour of the grounds. The Eames House is a mid-20th century modern architecture home and beautiful landscaping. It offers individual and group tours and hosts special events.

Santa Monica – Malibu Unified School District serves both communities and more than 9,000 students from transitional kindergarten to 12th grade.
